Terrell Mitchell
Mr. Mitchell is currently the Director of Bands at Morrow Middle School. His responsibilities include 6th, 7th, and 8th grade concert bands, Pep Band, Stage Band, The Bobcat Drumline and as well as assisting at Morrow Highschool bands. Mr. Mitchell is working towards creating a comprehensive music program at Morrow Middle School.
Mr. Mitchell is a product of Clayton County Public Schools graduating from Mount Zion High School. Shortly after graduation, Mr. Mitchell attended Alabama State University where he is a member of The Mighty Marching Hornets. Mr. Mitchell also attended The Unsinkable Albany State University where he was a part of the Marching Rams Show Band and also participated in Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, and Jazz Band. Mr. Mitchell Graduated at the top of the music department class with a Bachelors in Music Education and is currently a Graduate student at Georgia College and will receive a Masters of Music Education upon Competition.
Professional affiliations include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, The National Association for Music Education, Georgia Music Educators Association, HBCU-National Band Directors' Consortium.
